Sorry, but I can't respond to that with one word...No one can say it better than God, Himself said it:

I believe that you personally need to find your own answers and inner peace on this subject in general.
I understand that you are questioning conventional wisdom on many levels and seeking the "truth"...as you should.
But ultimately it doesn't matter what the "polls" say or what everyone Else's opinions are.
Your relationship with your creator or non-creator, your God or scientifically based beliefs are yours and you are the one who has the last word in your mind.
