When I came out of the broom closet to my parents, I gave them a copy of Scott Cunningham's The Truth About Witchcraft Today. It is a short but well written book about the religion of Wicca. The picture on the front cover is horrible and out-dated but the material inside is good.
As others have said, it will also help your case with your parents if you are sincere and knowledgeable about your new found religion. I would dispense with worrying about spells and "potions" for right now and really concentrate on immersing yourself in working with the God and Goddess. Your connection with Them will be the foundation of anything you do as a Witch.
Brightest blessings on your path.

Sweetie, if you are looking for spells and potions, then you will have a hard time convincing your parents you aren't evil. Scott Cunningham has several books describing Wicca as a peaceful, nature based faith, start there. Also, look thru the titles at MagusBooks.com, they are a great source of most the things you are looking for.
How old are you anyways? Wicca, done right, is a beautiful thing. Kids playing "bloody mary" in the bathroom, wearing pointed hats, hexing people, very very bad. Google the Wiccan Rede. Then decide if that's what you want. Otherwise, don't claim to be one of us. We have enough trouble with mainstream America without it.
**EDIT: you expect honest and respectful answers, yet your grammar is that of a middle schooler, your avatar is wearing a pointed hat, and you want Spells, Potions, and a way to convince Mommy and Daddy that you aren't being bad. How old are you was the only logical response. Your reaction to that question tells me loud and clear that you are NOT old enough to be serious about my faith, so I won't help you desecrate it. So sorry if that offends.

If someone is of the mindset that witches are evil, nothing will change that. Youwill just have to be a good person and hope that your parents grow up and see you as a person and not a closed minded stereotype. No amount of spells or potions will ever prove you are a good person, just be a good person and a good witch. If you are happy with your path and your life, you will already be a step better then the people who see you as evil because you believe in something other than what they believe.

Well, the best thing to do is make your own spells, they end up being more powerful than just copying them down. Second, you cannot prove to anyone that you're not evil, you must persuade them, witchcraft isn't just poof and then you have a cat. Shows like Charmed are totally fiction when it comes to actual Wicca.

There is a book called "When Someone You Love Is Wiccan" by Carl McColman that is great for people who are afraid. It isn't a huge book but it should cover all the basics.
Beyond that, there isn't much you can do. They will believe what they want regardless of what you try to tell them or show them. This is why most wait for years before telling anyone, so they have time to get to know their craft and beliefs well enough to explain them calmly and coolly, without getting defensive or argumentative.

Obviously you are too young to be more than a dabbler if you think its all about potions & spells. It is first and foremost a RELIGION. Read Wiccan Beliefs & Practices and Why, Why, If. Both give decent ethical advice. How did you find anyone to train you considering your age??? I don't know a single, ethical person who would teach a minor.

www.witchvox.com would be a good resource for you.
There are many books of spells, you can even find them in bookstores. I prefer to make my own using symbols that have particular meaning for me (I'm not Wiccan, just generic pagan) (and Taoist). They work rather nicely.
Wishing you joy and peace on your spiritual journey!

Spell won't help you look good to your parents. You want to ease their fears, not make them think you've gone round the bend.
