are you using a laptop with a touch pad mouse. Because if you are you may have the same problem as me. this happens to me all the time but it is because when you ar typing you may not realise but you could be touching the mouse pad and therefore it jumps to another part of the sentence.

This happens to me too, and my son says I am touching the touch pad without realising, but I don't believe him! Trouble is I can't type without looking at the keys so can't prove it! Sometimes I lose whole sentences!! Please someone give another answer to this question!!

Yeah. Mine does that too. It's the touchpad, like people said above, only I didn't know that was the problem until I read your answers, so thanks.

It's REALLY annoying. If you're typing, you wind up typing in the middle of what you already wrote. I'm going to turn off my touchpad right now. On mine I think I have to do that in the Control Panel.

Good luck, and thanks again.

PS Just tried it. It worked. Control Panel/Mouse/TouchPad look for something like "Don't use TouchPad."

You need to deactivate the touch-pad so that it doesn't work while you're typing. The touch pad icon should be in the tray at the bottom of the screen. Right click and go to property of touch pad.

i think its because the button next to the backspace key is Home. that makes it go to the beginning of the sentence you are typing. thats what happens with me.
