i think its illegal but my dad says its fun cause thats what him and his brother did when they were young

Possession of dynamite is a federal felony without obtaining a federal explosives license.
They probably have a law on detonating an explosive device without a license as well, but I'm not sure.
Fishing methods other than what the department of conservation specifically allows is also illegal as a state level misdemeanor.
Furthermore under the patriot act they can declare you a terrorist or enemy combatant, lock you up and throw away the key without a trial or access to a lawyer.

Well, I suppose if you are looking to get some of those fish sticks that are made out of pieces of fish then this is for sure the way....cept for in order to have the dynamite in the first place you'd need a special permit.

The fishing part I wouldn't worry about. It's the Federal offense of having high explosives in your possession that will give you an all expense paid vacation.
If you have a one day "shot" permit, you probably should be on dry land and not near water .
If that don't convince you, then sit right on the bottom of that metal john boat when one of your " DuPont fishing lures" goes off.

Unless you have a license, dynamite is contraband in practically all states I know about.

THE DYNAMITE IS AGAINST THE LAW UNLESS YOU ARE LICENSE AND EVEN THEN YOU CAN'T USE IT TO FISH BECAUSE ALL YOU WILL GET IS MINCED FISH. AND YOU MAY JUST KILL SOMEONE LIKE YOUR SELF

First off, you have to make sure you have all the fishing permits and you are at a place that you can fish. Second, you have to make sure you aren't in public because you are crazy.

Last I heard it is illegal.It seems like that is taking the sport out of it anyway.
