Try poking your dough with a fork before you prepare your pizza.
Pizza places use a dough docker.. roller with pins on it...

As the crust cooks, air pockets can form in the crust, which makes it crispy, but can look awful! Try piercing it with a fork before you stick it in the oven.

need to mix your dough a little more, and avoild the air pockets....need to get a fork and make some holes before putting anything on the dough...
