I'll go with the first, of course. You wouldn't believe how many Christians look down on scholarly endeavors, though. Whenever I try to bring up theology and/or Christian history around my mom's family I get dirty looks, like I'm somehow perverting their faith.

Passion without knowledge or study?

Not good in surgeons, pilots or the adherents of a religious faith.

I would say the basic theology, because theology doesnt kill passion does.

I suppose you need a balance of the faith, love, and logic to be a healthy Christian.
