It all varies depending on the level of fitness and the body doing the exercise. Lance Armstrong could cycle at 35mph for 200kilometers for example. As for myself I consider myself to be reasonably fit but I only go to the gym 3 times a week on average and do a 30-60min workout depending on if I am doing a light weight or muscle building workout. I also cycle at weekends for up to 2 hrs and I do stretches for my back injury every day for about 15mins. The one thing I do ensure is after a session in the gym I eat protein and rest my body. Never exercise the same area two days in a row and especially so if it hurts. No Pain No Gain is balony. If it hurts it is your body's way of saying you have done too much. Remember anything you do that elevates the heart rate and gets you breathing harder is valid exercise (even sex!). Cardiovascular exercise will increase your stamina and weight training will help with waist control as muscle is denser than lard so 1lb of beef takes up less volume than 1lb of flab (you also burn more calories just living with extra muscle). Therefore you can slim down but actually weigh more - a paradox that catches many people out. Eat a good healthy diet, cutting out the manmade junk as much as possible like High Fructose Corn Syrup and you'll soon find you get fitter, look slimmer and feel healthier.

Try running up and down the stairs (without shoes on) or get a low stool and step on and off it. Take two cans (ie soup or beans) from the kitchen cupboard and use them to exercise your biceps. Do push ups. Put some of your fave tunes on in your bedroom and dance, this is an excellent form of excercise but keep the volume down heh!. Or just go a brisk walk for about 30 mins a day. Hope these suggestions are useful to you.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

There is something called the "Prisoner's workout', designed to be done in a small area. (I took this from Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs web site)...

Begin standing. Quickly drop to a squatting position, and then kick your legs back and assume a push-up position. Do one push-up, quickly and smoothly. In a fluid motion, pull your legs forward into a squatting position, and leap straight into the air. Land squarely on both feet. Repeat the entire motion. Move as fast as you can without losing control or balance. Do 10 reps, and rest 30 seconds. Then do nine, and rest another 30 seconds. Then eight, then seven, then six, all the way to one. Always do descending sets. Never rest more than 30 seconds between sets.

Hi sweetie. theres a lot you can do just don't over do it. jumping rope. push ups and sit ups. or stretching. or turn to an exercise program on the boob, and see if you are able to keep up. work at your own pace. keep some bottled water close by. and try it for at least a half hour, or 20mins. to start off. with each new day try to beat your previous days number.

Go for a run. Running in the rain is the best and most refreshing time to do it I think!
