Hi Everyone, it's a roller coster for me today, one moment i know where i'm going and the next I'm doubting my faith.Please help. I need a word of incoregment!!!

Valerie, anyone who thinks has doubts. It is fine to have doubts. It is however good to find answers by asking those who know. Asking the questions not only helps you, but also helps the one that is answering the doubts and questions.
For example, I used to think, why did the Lord make Satan, who is much more experienced than poor me, plus he can sway my thinking one way or another, and then I have to stay put or move closer to hell. NOT FAIR!!
Until a knowledgeable man gave me a wonderful explanation. He said if Satan encourages you to do wrong, but you disobey him, and listen to the Almighty Lord, then you have moved closer to God and Satan helped you in becoming better. So, Satan literally does good to the good and affects only those who come under his influence and disobey God, who is much more greater and whose laws have been made clear to you.
This totally removed my complaint about God making Satan. Similarly, all doubts can be cleared if you believe in a true faith. If you believe in something false, then the doubts are going to help you move out of the well where you were stuck. So, in all cases thinking is good and acting on good things is the best.

i did the same thing not long ago. and then I realized that God created us with ability to make choices. the next thing i realized is that Gods word never comes back void. It is now that i go back to the awkward reality to choose what i know God has brought me through things that i could have not gone through on my own. He has blessed over and over again in my Gideon attitude even when he did not have to. He has provide for my family when there was no money. And he has blessed My family with perfect health. He said he would never leave me or forsake me and he never has. Yes i doubt a lot now and maybe it is because the older i get the more i realize how messed i can be, and the more i am thankful that he chooses to live in me. right now. so i come to this conclusion if all i do saves one person to go to heaven and have a relationship with the loving God that I know, even if i am not able to go to heaven then that is what God sees fit then i have to trust that.BUT because his word does not return void AND BECAUSE GOD CAN NOT LIE 8 ) Then i will see you in heaven! ( GODS PROMISE!) john 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who soever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. thank you so much for this question you have made my Monday a blessing and may you be blessed as well.

Don't try so hard... even Paul had good days and bad days... In Romans 7:7 Paul talks about the struggle with sin.. which is much the same as a struggle with faith... My favorite verse: Rom 7:15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do..... It describes me perfectly most times...

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God. It would help to read out loud some scriptures of the promises God has for you. Doubt can cause fear. But 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So what ever it is, God has taken care of it for you.
Also pray for God to reveal His vision to you for your life. I will pray for you, and that you are shown the way, and have no doubts.

We all have those days. Just realize that He is there with you no matter how you are feeling. Even when you have doubts and it seems your faith is getting thin. Turn off all the noise...computers, tv, stereo etc. And start talking to Him. He is listening even when you think He isn't. He's waiting for you to talk to Him.
