First of all just a little 411: Spot reduction doesn’t work! So doing a million sit-ups will not get rid of stomach fat. The muscles in your body don’t actually control the fat that surrounds them. You will strengthen your abs by doing sit-ups, but it will not get rid of the layer of fat on top of them.
But, if you go jogging/running and burn calories, you will decrease the amount of fat on your entire body, including your stomach! Jogging and sit-ups combined can help you get that flat stomach.
Try this: Go jogging 4 times this week for 30 minutes (you pick the pace that works for you). Then pick 3 days during the week to do 3 sets of 15 sit ups. This teamed up with a healthy diet is the key.
I left you some sources to check out. The 1st is about spt reduction; the 2nd is different sit-up exercise ideas, and the 3rd is my personal blog. I'm keeping up a health & fitness blog while I am going to school to become a personal trainer. Feel free to visit & ask me more questions. I'll be sure to get back to you. Good luck!

To lose weight, drink a glass of water before you have a meal as it will fill you up first and make you less likely to eat more. Also, serve your food in smaller portions and wait 20 minutes, if your still very hungry then have a bit more. Doing stomach crunches will probably help to get rid of the fat on your stomach. Long distance running is great for a leaner tum as well. I hope this helps!

Sit ups, crunches and running will do it. Do 100 crunches and 25 full sit ups twice a day, more if you can without getting sore and run/jog at least one mile.
BTW, you may not have a flat stomach but at 5'2" and 122 you are not neccessarily fat. If you work out a bit like above you'll look great.

Drink Water, exercise more, eat less & eat better. Cut all soda out, and anything pre-sweetened for drinks too. There is no magic pill to take.
When a 34 year old asks this question, liposuction might be an option for FAST....but I wouldn't do it.
