B4 it stopped working, it blinked very fast. The the left went out. Then the right went out. The hazards work fine. I bought a new flasher, installed it (behind the glove box), and still had the same problem.

Any thoughts?

I had a similar issue several years ago, and it was the flasher relay. The relay on a Wrangler is in the lower part of the steering column and is accessed by unscrewing the knee blocker panel (plastic panel that comes up underneath the steering column, right where your knees might hit). It's on the right side of the steering column. It's a box that is screwed to the steering column mounting bracket. It has a wiring harness coming out of one side and a screw bracket on the other. Unscrew it, pull it down for easier access, then disconnect the wiring harness.

Other things to check are the bulb sockets for corrosion, especially if you live in an area where they use a lot of salt on the roads in the winter.

Click the link below for the complete factory service manual for your 2001 Wrangler. Download it and keep it around - it will help you troubleshoot anything that might come up with your Jeep.

Section 8J covers the turn signal flasher. There are diagnostic and replacement procedures. See page 8J-6 (document page 395) for the procedure for replacing the flasher. Note: you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download from adobe.com if you don't have it) to read the service manual.

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, but I think it may be just a fuse has blown.

Did you check the bulbs in the front and rear? You may have a wiring problem in the column or a bad switch. good luck.

Try replacing the bulbs and all should work fine after that.

The turn signals are on their own fuse. Change it.
