Depends on the laxative! Your laxative may contain dye and the dye can turn your bowel movements orange. Also if you had eaten a lot of veggies with beta carotene in them (carrots, sweet potatoes, etc.), your bms can be orange.

One other cause would be a pale orange and that would be if they lacked bile salt. Bile salt is what normally gives us brown bms. Your bms can also be orange from antacids.

This is nothing to worry about if it is only temporary. If the orange persists, please see your doctor for diagnosis and possibly some liver testing.
