God is supposedly all knowing, so why would he have written the bible in such a vague and controversial way? Didn't he know it would lead to the massacres and ultimate death of millions of people?

Of course. But God caused and COMMANDED the deaths of millions of people. So he must be okay with that.

The Bible is written in very simple language, the New Testament was written in Greek, which was the written language of the common man. It is controversial because it goes against our flesh and sin nature, it is not vague in terms of God's character, the history, the ethics, the person of Christ and the way of salvation.

Could you document the massacres and deaths of millions caused by a proper reading and understanding of the Scriptures?

Peace be with you

Jesus was trying to tell the Jews, that the God they worship is Satan. He had told them this fact very clearly without using parables for more than 3 years, put because they love darkness rather then light, and the kingdoms and riches given to them by Satan, they did not want to lose what they had, they would not hear the words, nor understand.

You today hear the same words they heard 2000 years ago, and you as them do not hear the words.

The words you need to hear are found in;
John 1:17
John 6:32
John 10:7
Luke 24:25
Matthew 11:11
John 4:41
and Luke 4:6 and 4:9
John 4:21-22
John 3:14
John 8:44

Yes, God is sovereign and knows the end of all things. But to say that God is the author of evil is not correct either. Man is still responsible for the atrocities he commits and will answer to God for trying to justify his sin by using God's Word as a sacapegoat. Consider 2Peter 3: 15-16, where Peter states that because people do not understand the true meaning of Scripture they twist it for their own purposes. But also note that they do so to their own destruction. God will judge them at the proper time. We must remember that God is still in control despite everything that is going on. As the Scripture says, "Their. . .sin has not yet reached its full measure."

I hoped this helped.

Yes He did know that. The carnal world clashes with the Spiritual world. On one hand everything is explained by this physical finite world we visually see. The Spirit is experienced by Faith and the manifestations of His power and Word.

I don't think the Bible lead to the massacres. The Bible is the word of God and his truth is revealed by him.

Diligence..... determination.... the mysteries are not revealed to all but the Gospel is clear! If you seek it with all of your heart, it will be revealed to you in the right church with the right pastor and the diligence of the believer.... it truly is exciting....

Well I don't believe in God but...
I thought he had someone else write it for him.
Like, he didn't physically write it himself.
