He stopped her from doing any more harm.
Unfortunately, Tammy, and her collection of criminal husbands DO typify christian values in the U.S. these days.

Obviously you don't want an answer to your question, but just wanted to express your contempt of Christianity and of Tammy Faye Baker. It should comfort you then that even the most devout Christians can die in a horrible and painful manner, so you will have many opportunities to point out this obvious contradiction of religious logic and be smugly reassured of your own superior intellect.
By the way, taking joy in the suffering of Christians has a long tradition, beginning with the crowd of people who mocked Jesus because he couldn't save himself from being crucified, even though he was supposedly the Son of God. You'd think such a bastion of Christian values would be spared the torment of being nailed to a piece of wood...

God's reward is so much greater than we could ever expect down here. I dare say that there isn't a single soul that gets to heaven and decides they'd rather be back here on earth. Just like Job, we are to trust in God, nothing wavering, despite what we experience. My mom died last year of cancer, and was a very devoted Christian. It was so painful to watch her deteriorate, but she NEVER complained, she ALWAYS believed that God had the power to heal her, whether he did it or not. This is the best lesson Tammy Faye left for us.

God never promised there would be no suffering or death. What He did was promise to be with Tammy Faye while she went through her illness. Now she's happy in Heaven. You must be such a very sad soul. I'll say a prayer for you.

I believe with all my heart that God did save Tammy Faye. I don't have a single doubt that she's in heaven right now.. wouldn't you rather be in heaven with the Lord or God than down here suffering and being ridiculed for every move you make?

It was her time to go. Being Christian doesn't mean that believers are magically made impervious to disease. Christians have the same mortality rate as any other human beings, Tammy Faye included. To expect not to suffer from sickness ever again after professing faith isn't a rational expectation.

The fact is, we're never going to know everything this side of heaven. It's just not going to happen. We can spend all of our time asking such questions and get nowhere. Stop looking at the fact that God hasn't healed her and look at the fact that when she dies, she will forever be with her Lord and Savior. I know this because my grandfather died of cancer. He was a minister. In fact, he was one of those ministers that ministers go to for advice. He died of lung cancer. Why didn't God heal him? Don't look at what God does, but who He is. Keep your eyes on that only. King David did. You can see it throughout the psalms. His cry was usually, "I don't know why this is happening, but this I know. I will trust in the Lord my God and Him only."

No miraculous thing was done to save her. I pray that someone is faithful enough to perform such a miracle and save an ill person like her. The opportunity was presented so that one of us could save as a matter of fact one of can today. Lazarus was raised 3 days after he died. It is stated in the Bible that some of us will perform greater miracles than Jesus. If she is to be save from the hooks of death it will be today.

It could be part of a bigger picture. Her battle with cancer kept her in the spot light longer and gave her more of the worlds attention. She was also able to reach out to people with cancer because she sharred their struggles and pain. If God used her cancer to reach other people then it can be a blessing in the bigger picture. She knew that and was willing to go through the pain (and not hate God) because she trusted that something bigger and better was being accomplished, that her cancer was a part of.

Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
God never promised bad things wouldn't happen to Christians.
