Jesus said: " Blessed are you when men shall hate you, ...and shall reproach you, and cast your name out as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice, and leap for joy!...for GREAT is your reward in heaven!" (Luke 6:22)
They are (in their ignorance) MAKING US RICH! :))
Remember...
.."... for we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, hateful, and hating one another. But after the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteoudness we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us,..." (Titus 3:3)

How true! It's so easy to get wrapepd up in being high and mighty judgemental Christians that we often forget what we're here for: to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even I personally struggle with this. I get so frustrated at non-believers that I all too often snap and respond to them in aggrivation and hatred instead of speaking the truth in love as Jesus has commanded. All I can say is praise God for his wonderful mercy; without it even the most righteous among us would be destined for Hell.

I'm Christian, but I don't think that all non-believers are hateful and intolerant. I enjoy talking with them, and answering their questions. I also enjoy asking them questions. A two-way dialogue can be very important sometimes. Sure, some people can, indeed, display a lack of tolerance, and/or an unwillingness to engage in a rational discussion. In that case, I usually take my leave of them as calmly as possible. Arguing back accomplishes nothing, except showing non-believers that they were "right" in their assumptions about "pushy" Christians; it will likely alienate them from making further contact with believers. And face it, the stress involved isn't good for anybody on either side.

Don't store up riches on this earth.....Your riches are in heaven. The rich on this earth who think they are christian may be following the wrong spirit.

Christians have always been persecuted in some shape or form. Most religions have been. I guess you should just be thankful that you just have to deal with people's intolerance on line rather then being tortured or fed to lions.
This looks like a pity party, it is not a question.

We have just seen, doubtless with gratitude. God has made us all What, then , is our firs and basic need? It is t know the truth about ourselves and about and God. Until we do so, we are living in a realm of illusion and we ar impervious to the word of grace.

You want intolerance and hatred, look at what Christians tell others when THEY don't tolerate....
"You should find Jesus before you burn in Hell..."
"What a terrible thing, find Jesus, He'll save you..."
The list goes on.
I'm a Catholic, and I support those who don't automatically revert to the Bible for everything. You guys are an incredibly intolerant and hateful group. Lighten up.

For me the key is remembering that the person who is trying to piss on me is just making themselves all the poorer.
I don't need a god to even the score. A rich and fun life is enough for me.

I pray for those who are believers and have to endure the hatred of other so called "believers". It is a shame. You will know that they are Christians by their love and not their attempts at ridiculing fellow Christians.

But what about the intolerance and hatred from Christians that many of us must endure?
I never had an atheist condemn me to the fiery pits of hell for all eternity, because I would not forsake my faith, unlike Christians have done to me when they learn I am a Catholic
