I have, but I was married for 6 years.
If it wouldn't have been with someone I had been with many many times, then I would not have done it.
There's nothing wrong with saying "Hey, can you give me a few minutes to freshen up" Honey, that is EXACTLY what that phrase means. I've not expected to be having sex and I've litterally just came right out and said "I haven't showered today and don't feel comfortable with you touching me down there" but just as long as it hasn't been longer than a day or so, then it's not going to be too gross to go ahead and have sex. For me, I don't have sex with anyone if I haven't showered in 24 hours. If I do, then it will only be on my mind and will distract me from enjoying it. The whole point of not being able to talk freely about anything and everything to your sexual partner might be an indication that you don't know them well enough to be having sex in the first place, but I understand the embarrassment with that "not so fresh" feeling. Trust me, a guy who you've been with will understand, but just any guy will think it's gross. I've heard male friends talk about it and then word gets around. Not bathing is something we're all guilty of at times, but talking about it is hard.

I never go thru with the act. If I know I'm not so fresh and clean down there I take the time to clean myself up because that is what I would want him to do as well in the same situation.

Nope I am always fresh, there is no reason for a woman not to be fresh down there there is an entire aisle in supermarkets for women, so there is no need to be stank

I tend not to let my husband go down on me when I'm feeling less than fresh. Honestly, he doesn't care. He'll do it any time no matter how fresh I am.

Uh, NO, I've never been down that road. If I'm not feeling that everything is on the up and up, I'll stop (even if it's in the heat of the moment), excuse myself and get everything taken care of. That's just gross.

Of course, usually the hot summer days get my husband turned on no clue why, but he loves me fresh or not, he's not going to get sick if it's a little sweaty

usually i just tell them.. in a joking kind of way. If im not comfortable with them enough to talk about things openly then i dont sleep with them anyways.

no, the guys will always be okay with you taking a few minutes to clean up before hand if you aren't so fresh. they will NOT like it if you are less than fresh.

Never. I keep a stash of wipes on me at all times to ensure constant freshness.
