I know some of the questions are stupid or seem silly and ignorant but some people are scared or young and looking for genuine information. *I* know that you can't believe everything you read but some people don't. SO why is it alot of people answer with dangerous misinformation...how hard is to look up real info and back it up with where they found that info? Or say I have heard instead of stating it like its absolutely a fact?

Just curious what everything thinks...and no need to be rude :)

Yes i absolutely agree that some info should be asked to a medical professional and not here :)

Take the info with a grain of salt. I look up things on google- and almost everything you want to know is on there.

Most people offer personal experiences- which helps as long as it is something you can look up it's fine. Otherwise- ask a doctor.

That said, I know some people write that they are going to ask a doctor- but they post here while they wait- and that is fine too.

Common sense really.

Why is it so hard for the original asker to actually SPEAK with a doctor?

If people come on here to take this advice as the end-all, then those people have something else coming to them. Even if they are scared, young and looking for answers, Y!A should NOT be the final place to find the answers.

Personally, I think that everyone here IS trying to help as much as they can. To a 15 year old, using a condom WOULD seem worthless. That's his/her experience.

I agree with some of what you are saying, I personally ask questions looking more for advice than anything. I wouldn't really look for a diagnosis or expert opinion here. Have a great day!

There are many trolls on yahho answers and other forums
Some people honestly believe that they have the right answer and dont view it as misinformation
Hopefully people asking questions will take the majority and not believe the one person who strays far from all the other answers.

I think your right and if someone likes the advice they read then they should ask their dr. to confirm that it is ok to do, i personally only like to tell my personal experiance and what i KNOW worked for me
