i was supposed to get my period the 17th and its the 23d, sometimes it skips months, and sometimes its just late, but how early can I take a pregnancy test?

Some are very sensitive and detect HCG before you actually miss your period. Since you have missed yours all ready it would be fine to take one now.

You can take it now.
People who regular cycles can test 4-5 days before their period is supposed to start. Some tests dont recommend until youve missed your period.
IF you test and its negative I would test again in another week or so if your period hasnt started. Your cycles arent regular, that makes a difference.

you should be able to take a test now... some pregnancy tests can test 5 days before your missed period, in your case do it now!!! If your pregnant there will be a definite positive.

when your late and you need to see the doctor and get your periods regulated its almost impossible to get pregnant skipping like you are
