I recently slept with a guy that I met 1 1/2 years ago.He lives out of state (about an 1hr away) and is always flirtatous with me when we see each other. I feel that we both like each other but I'm not sure how much he is feeling me. He told me that he was interested in me last year but I gave him the impression that i wasn't feeling the same way so he decided to back off a little. By the time I told him I liked him he was already seeing this girl. That was 1 yr ago.We've kept in touch periodically and he invited me to new year's party and his birthday party and bbq's. We recently had sex and right before we were about to do it he told me that I could stop him at any time if I wanted. I spoke to him briefly the day after and told him that I didn't expect to have sex. he apologized. Do you think he's not sure how I feel and is following my lead or do you think that since I don't live close to him he's not sure about my situation and doesn't want to pursue a long distance relationship?

I think he stayed friends with you with the hopes that you two would have sex eventually - he may be surprised that you wanted to have sex because you gave him the impression that you didn't feel the same way - if you like him and he only lives one hour away, you guys can work that out if you wanted to - BUT - - - do YOU really want to and does HE really want to? only you guys know for sure - good luck

He is not sure how you feel. Tell him. And he may not be sure how he feels. This will get it all out in the open.
