I agree with you that atheists mistakenly think that we believe that God is supposed to magically save us all from death and harm. In fact, their best argument for God's not existing is that if he did, why does he allow bad things to happen? Of course, that is only a valid argument if you do not believe in God, because if you do then you believe that THIS world is not what matters. If you get eternal salvation afterward, then what are a few "bumps and bruises" in this life? Death is not a bad thing in this point of view.
But your last question kind of misses the boat. Atheists are not angry about how God handles things... because they do not believe he exists! Their backlash is not against God. Their backlash is against believers of God that they perceive as being intolerant, aggressive, and illogical. So, in a sense, most atheists are not mad at God, they are mad at us. When you factor in how some Christians and other religious people insult and attack those who believe otherwise, are intolerant of people who are different than they are, and how many religious people even attack basic science at times... it is no wonder that we all get stereotyped! Of course, two wrongs don't make a right.
The best thing that you can do is to try to understand where atheists come from, listen to what they have to say, treat them with respect, and be the best person you can be to show them that God is working through you and that stereotypes can be applied to anyone, even religious people.

Um, you're logic is flawed. Atheists aren't angry at the way God does things, they think God doesn't have a hand in it at all.
Also, unlike you being able to babysit 7 billion, God is supposed to be omniscient and all powerful, so 7 people, 7 billion, 7 trillion, it shouldn't matter. And if you were a Christian, you'd know, God is not one self. He is the holy trinity, 3 in one, he is also everywhere and is I AM.
Per your example, Atheists don't think that God is supposed to protect the Christians on the bus, they think that a bus accident is just a bus accident. It can happen anytime, anyplace for any reason.

First of all your question doesn't make sense to me, but I'll answer best I can. First of all God is real and true, whether or not anyone believes in Him. It's like when people thought (believed) the world was flat, they honestly believed that, but the truth was still the truth (it's round),well the same ideology can be applied to God, atheists may believe He doesn't exist, but one day everyone will have the common knowledge that He's real although some won't like it. God is all knowing, all powerful, God is GOD, so yes He can keep track of everything about everyone. No I wouldn't be able to babysit 7 Bil people, but I'm not God. Accidents will happen regardless of religious backgrounds or beliefs. The world has sin in it and will until Jesus returns and the new Heaven and Earth have been created, bad things are going to happen. Best bet is to believe in Jesus and live right. Trust the Bible, not men.

We don't believe that God is supposed to protect anybody. We don't dislike "the way God handles things." We don't believe there IS a God. The reason the bus fell off the hill is for the very reason you named. It was on a dangerous hill that it shouldn't have been on. "God" had no more to do with it than the tooth fairy.

You are very misconceived. Atheists do not believe there is a God, just like you don't believe there is a toothfairy. I "believe" there are natural reasons as to why this bus fell, and do not blame God, Zeus, Allah, or the flying spaghetti monster for anything that happens.

I think you are mistaking some of the logical challenges of atheists as anger.
For example, the bus incident shows us that (if God were to actually exist) God is either all-powerful and chose not to save those followers from death, or he is powerless to stop it. Either one runs contrary to what we are told about the nature of God.
Of course, we know that God does not exist, so we are not saying anything about the nature of an actual god, we are issuing a logical challenge to followers. Not in anger, but to promote thought.

My beliefe is just because someone considers themselves to be Christian doesn't always mean they are a good person. Many people use this excuse to try to say that they are good people. Not true. I don't care what religion you are or what you believe in, is is how you treat other people. Just because someone says they are Christian and then are constantly lying about everything doesn't exactly make them a good person.

Twenty-six people killed in a bus crash.
Three-thousand + on Sept. 11, 2001.
Over a thousand killed by Hurricane Katrina.
Over 250,000 killed in the Dec. 26, 2005 tsumani.
Countless sick and hungry children dying in Africa everyday.
God's got a real handle on things.
Either he's cruel and uncaring, or he doesn't exist. I prefer the latter.
