the religion Christianity or Christ? obviously Christianity is real cause so many profess to be just like atheism. Christ on the other hand, Ive got to the point where i dont feel the need to prove my Savior. Ive felt him personally and believe in him therefore he is real to me. we are suppose to witness but if one refuses then we should shake the dust off our shoes and move on. being in this site its best to shake the dust and move on. no one can prove he does or doesn't, this has been a war every since i came on r & s. when Jesus wants to reveal his self then he will, but us humans cant just make one convert.

Well, I don't think that Christianity isn't real, but if you're looking to disprove that the stories in the bible are just retold stories, the start studying ancient cultures. There are thousands of stories very similar to the Jesus story, about sacrificing a messenger from God, being born from a virgin etc....

This is a question that only you can answer. No matter what I or anyone else might say, you would not accept it. If one sincerely belives that Jesus is the Christ, then their view about Christianity is real to them , Does not matter to anyone else.

This film: The God Who Wasn't There
Naturally, there's more to it than just the points in the movie, but it's a start.

Christianity is based on the Bible. The Bible is the word of God. The word of God is perfect. If the word of God is perfect, why does it contradict itself? Murder is a sin, yet the Bible says we should kill heretics, adulterers, and disrespectful children. If God is all loving, why would He send a finite being to torment for eternity, simply for having different beliefs than Christianity? Logically it is flawed. There is no premise to believe in God - not one piece of conclusive evidence - so why believe in the first place? The answer can be many reasons (fear of Hell, how one was brought up, the tendency to rely on false conclusions provided by one's "heart," which is really a system of interconnected neurons, insecurity of death, and so on).

I think it's because if they except that God is real, they also have to except that satan is real. Without enough knowledge to know God gives us power over the enemy it can be a scary thought to know it's real. it also means they have to live under some rules they would rather do without.

You put your question in good grammar - then followed it with a dumbed down vernacular statement (I just wanna ...) which had a hint of mockery. I can understand the reason for some of your replies. More gravitas.

Christianity is real because it is nothing more than faith and a established religious organization.
Now the real question would be are the beliefs of Christianity real?

How about the fact that christianity is against canibalism, yet eats its saviors flesh every weekend. And a consecrated host and an unconsecrated host have the same genetic make-up, despite one being the body of christ. (We checked in chem...) In fact, the bible itself is ridiculous. Any gospels that had any contradicting evidence against Jesus were tossed...

I believe Christianity is very real.
Any religion is a personal thing between you and who ever you feel, is the best being to put all your trust in.
You cannot categorize religion, you feel it inside your soul.
