My toddler has been having diarrhea off and on for about 2 weeks now. She is not running a fever, and she is not vomiting. She seems to be in good spirits, and doesn't act like her belly hurts. I have tried to cut some of the dairy out of her diet, and switched to lactose free milk- just to see if that made a difference. It doesn't seem to have done anything one way or the other. She does have about 4 teeth coming in right now, and I know that sometimes leads to diarrhea, but I am a little concerned just the same. We go to the doctor next week for her 18 mth checkup, so I'll mention it then. Just thought I would see if anybody had any suggestions! Thanks!

The teething is probably the cause of it.
Also, some child just get what is called 'toddler diarrhea'.

Do you give her a lot of fruit juice? A few months ago, my cousin had nappies of a new born even though she was about 18-19 months old...turned out to be too much apple juice :)

Well my son is 19 months and he also has loose stoole and I tried cutting back on the sweet juices. I started giving him more water and that seemed to help out a lot..I just think all toddlers go through it...but just ask the doctor and she what he /she says...

My son had this when he got his for eye teeth. As long as she is eating and feeling ok otherwise I would not worry too much about it. I would, as a precaution, use diaper rash cream with every change to help prevent a rash.

You seem to be covering everything well. Just make sure she drinks a lot of water so she wont dehydrate. Good luck!

Probably just teething... Make sure she stays hydrated- try Pedialite, that works well.
