Romans. There are great resources out there for a study in Romans. I'll see if I can find the name of the study guide we used.

Awww, that was mean, RedQueen!

Good for U! Yes online helps are plentiful. U don't say anything about Ur or Their "Status", Both Christians, New / Old Believers, Purpose etc.. Sooooo, U must Consider these things First! I Personally wouldn't Start with Any Book, rather pick a "Topic" to "Research" as a "Starting Point". There are Many Topics, but probably none more asked about Here than "End Times" which is Much More than the Book of Revelation!!! What ever U decide, be Sure that Both are on the Same Page!!! That is to say, able to have Access to the same Materials to "Draw" from. Bible Handbooks / Commentaries are Very Helpful. Be a "Good Partner" and when U "Meet", be "Prepared" having done Ur "Homework". Un-doubtably there will Arise Questions that U may Not Know. Great! There is no Shame in this, so Dig it out between U!!! Start each session with Prayer for Guidance from the H.S.. Have Fun!!! John

The best thing for you to do is pray and ask God to guide you. He will not only give you the book you should study but all the details of the bible study, he will give you what you need to bless others. If in doubt talk to your Pastor. That may help a lot as well.

Start with the book of the Bible you know the best or you are at ease with. This will lead to a comfort zone for your next time and bring more to the next Bible study. Or ask those who join you to share but remember not everyone has the same views. After all the B.I.B.L.E. stands for Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth words we need to heed.

1. Pray on it. Ask the Lord where HE would have you two start.

2. Talk with your Bible-study partner, making sure that both of you understand the same basic things in the Bible and that you both want the same basic things out of this Bible study.

Also, there are a million Bible study aids online. Start with Bible.com

Lord bless

If you are inexperienced in this sort of thing it is best to work through an established curriculum. I would recommend speaking with the pastor of your church in finding one geared towards your needs. Not knowing the personal details of yourself or your friend it is hard to recommend something off the top of my head as Bible studys should be personalized to the needs and level of Christian maturity of the user.

We have a book called what does the Bible really teaches. in there you can find answers based on the Bible to questions, such as. ▪ ¿why do we die?
How can we deal with our day to day problems? What can we do so that our family life is happier? What happends to us when we die? Will one day see our loved ones that have pass away (die)?
and why can we be sure that God will accomplish what he has promise?
If you want a copy, I can mail one to you for free, just e-mail me.

study Bar-Anerges' placed up. This individual's mockery and loathing of your faith is who the JWs are. attempt the e book, "Kingdom of the Cults" on your very own edification, yet do not parent on coaching the JWs something. Their "coaching" is in only one course, you are the pupil and that they are going to by no ability settle for being taught by making use of you, they are going to by no ability study any ingredients, books, or web content with you to be certain how they are so dreadfully incorrect of their theology. in the event that they do answer, it relatively is going to likely be with logical fallacies and scriptural inaccuracies that are relatively refuted by making use of pupils, yet possibly not lots by making use of the unaware. getting into your place separates you from something of the flock, the place you're an difficulty-free meal for the wolf. you will desire to be "shaken." The Bible learn you will desire to be in, are those your church grants. enable the JW connect you there extremely.

well it depends on the person your giving the bible study to. Is this person saved, or is he/she not saved?
if saved then you could start from the book of romans which is a great book of faith.. teach on having faith in God and how he will provied if we believe in him and put our trust in him that everything will be all right.
but if not saved then you could teach on salvation. You could teach from the book of acts when peter was teaching on the day of pentecost and God's spirit fell down upon them all.
or you could read from a number of passages bringing them to rom 5:12-21 showing how we are sin natured and we are in need of a God to fogive us and wash away our sins. then bring them to the cross where christ actually did just that for us and died...then rose again.
and how the gift of God is eternal life...not on earth but in heaven..
hope this can help you out some... good luck
