This is one of my all time favorite movies. A great Comedy and a pointed look at how ridiculous religion, in particular Catholicism is and points out many of it's crazy rules. Such as the church of men have the ability to make rules that dictate how heaven and god will operate.
Chris Rock as the 13th black apostle was just hilarious.

I'm an atheist. I loved it, and almost everything that Kevin Smith has done.
One of the best parts: George Carlin playing a Cardinal. That was such an excellent touch.

I thought the movie was pretty good. It manages to reinforce and mock Catholic faith all at the same time.
And I'm a (non-practicing) Catholic in real life, I just play as an atheist for this avatar.

I really enjoyed it, thought the ideas were intelligent.
I like the idea at the end, you don't want religion, you want beliefs. Faith will change with you, it's not stagnant.
It's good to make fun of ourselves once in a while. And Carlin playing the bishop...hilarious.
Atheist.

Funny movie. In the end, the movie wasn't about not believing in god, it was about how dogma can destroy faith (and even existence).

I thought it was OK. Being a former resident of Pittsburgh, I enjoyed seeing some familiar spots.

I thought it was hilarious. I know some people who down right hated it because it offended their religious sensibilities but since I don't have any I liked it.

I thought it was funny, but not a classic. The God being some little female that doesn't speak was weird. That film had a crazy cast.

Eh. It was OK. Kind of a stupid rambling story that never went anywhere, although it played with a few semi-interesting ideas. I was raised Catholic so it made sense that way. Note that it also toys with one of the ideas associated with the "Da Vinci Code" nonsense, the living "scion" of Christ, unaware of her heritage, etc.
And just so everybody knows...lol...I'm an atheist now - non-practicing!
