Let me make myself clearer by saying in the United States. Although, orientals may not believe in our God, most of them observe Buddha as their god, which means they are not true atheists. A true atheist is a person with no type of religious beliefs whatsoever. But to make things more clearer lets direct the question to those residing in our culture in the good old USA.

Independent polls and surveys and life experience. I have friends of all races, colors and creeds. Of my friends I have a few that are atheist and just so have it they all happen to be white. Although they don't believe in God like I do I still love them and pray for them.

The vast majority of the earth's population believe in God. There are many rich and well educated people who know the truth and believe in God. Not believing in God makes one stupid not smart.

Buddha sure is classified as a god or diety. Buddhist bow down to the big bellied Buddha statue all the time. They bow down to Buddha like we bow down to God. Many people assume that because orientals don't bow down to "Our GOD", the one and only true God, that they are atheists, and that is far from the truth. When you look up the definition of an atheists it will not say a person or persons who don't believe in Jesus Christ, trinity, or the God of the Western Civilization, it will define it as a person who doesn't believe in a god or diety. Therefore, if there are some people in Greece who still believe in the gods of Greek mythology and not the God of our bible, guess what, they are not atheists.
