I worked for hospice and seen a man's soul leave his body at the moment of his last breath. It was about 3:00 am I was in the connecting room watching the family members hold his hands and tell him it was ok for him to leave. The lighting and distance must have been perfect. I seen a mist rise up from his chest and slowly move upward. I later told his wife, I felt it would be a comfort as to what I saw. I'll never forget it, the most amazing thing I've ever seen with my eyes. Paula

I was reading an article the other day about blind people having near death experiences and they had visions.
Kind of impossible to know how to see if
you were blind from birth.
Also last night heard on the radio of a near death experience of a person that memorized the serial numbers on hospital
equipment, and when he was revived he
revealed the numbers to an x-ray machine.
Its kinda strange but when my friend had a
N.D.E. he told me he was moving about the hospital and felt like a kid, he could run really
fast and not get tired, he said he went all over the hospital and he could see some people he knew in the waiting room.
When he came to he said he saw some people in the waiting room he knew wearing
blue jeans and a green shirt and the lady was wearing a sun dress.
They were shocked when he said it from the hospital bed.
I beleived it when i saw the look on there faces.

It's really up to your mother. Not us or anyone else can take that belief away from her; it was probably comforting when her mother died. If she thinks she saw it, let her believe it, even if it's unlikely.
I watched my grandma die in the hospital but saw nothing leave her except color. That doesn't stop me from believing that her soul left though. Beliefs around this sort of thing are private and often sacred. It's our way of dealing with death.

If I did not see it for myself I would have not have believed it myself. I had just watched the last sunset with my dad. He was propped up I bed so he could continue receiving medication without choking. I knew the last breath he took and said out loud "their he goes". He sat up and pushed off towards the foot of the bed and was gone. I want to thank you for sharing your story. When it happened to me I went searching for anything that could help me explain what I saw. I have a few verses that helped me and I hope this helps you.
In the King James Bible it says:
Genesis Chapter 2 verse 7- And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Ecclesiastes Chapter 12 verse 7- Than shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
These are just two of several verses of the living soul we carry within our body.

I have never known of anyone being able to see the soul and the Spirit of God leave any person's body. The Soul and the Spirit of God does exist; you can take that to the bank.

I believe that she thought she saw it but I don't believe that the soul leaves the body when we die because Ezekiel 18:4 says that the soul that is sinning, it itself will die.

Working at the graveyard shift to pay for my college. I know you are going to laugh. This guy bound to a wheelchair and a widower had great chemistry. They also spent alone time together. But one night after I had done my medication rounds. and was at my desk, I saw blue type of spirit and she looks like her. I am kind of stunned, freeze for a second then see her slip under this guys door. I didn t want to walk in till I absolutely had to But I did eventually on next round, found her corpse in her bed and him in his bed dead.. And he was smiling!
Believe you me I have always was cynical to spiritual, beliefs, I may not know what is going on that night. . Bet there is SOMETHING out there.

The oddest thing is that I have heard that the angel of death wrestles with the person and it is not easy at the end. However everyone I spoke to has told me the moment of death for some reason they had closed their eyes or turned around or missed it for a split second. I think that there is something to odd to that- that we are protected from seeing this struggle.

You mother is wishful at best. She wants to believe that she will see granny in heaven because she misses her so her subconscious made her see something go up in the air that didn't exist in the first place.
