i went to a job interview so i took my ring out, i came home and tried to put my old ring back in my mouth. and the ring fell into the sink and i have no way of retrieving it. the only thing i have is labret ring but that doesn't seem to be going in properly i've been trying to get the labret in for about an hour now and i'd hate to have my piercing close up. plus my transportation won't be home for about another eight hours. so what can i do to make sure it doesn't close up!

i dont think its gonna close that fast in a matter of hours. so try the labret ring again until ur able to get another ring. 8 hours isnt enuff to close it. it will just relax a bit but will not close completely. when u get ur ring put a hot compressor on the hole and this will loosen up the hole and the ring will fit in again

ah! well. that happened to me too, i say get a warm warm warm facecloth and hold it on for 5 minutes ( warmth makes the hole loosen) , then find anything you can and put it in until then. But i mean, if you have the labret ring.. that should work. if it wont go through easy, put a little bit of vasilen or something on it, lub it up. I say, push it in. I mean, people i know stretch their lip rings, so fighting to get it in is better than not having one! Goodluck lovely

wash a safety pin in alcohol and put that in for a while, then call a friend for a ride...
if it does close up, put vitamin E all over the scar so that the scar heals with a minimal mark.

if its a pretty new piercing it might close up. the safety pin idea is a good one. if you have any small hoop earrings, you could use those too. just remember to clean them!
