Sometimes, in the beginning stages of a relationship, it can be cute and endearing. But like many quirks, it's gets old and annoying after some time.
A person who shows absolutely no feeling of jealousy can be viewed as uncaring whereas a person who is overly jealous can be viewed as possessive, even psycho. There is a happy medium for every person or relationship. Just remember, it's okay to be jealous it just depends on how you react to it and handle yourself.

Absolutley not!!!!!! Jealousy is a form of abuse thats can end up ruining a relationship!! There is a differance between not allowing another man to degrade, disrespect, or cross the line with your lady, in a manerly fashion without being an overly obnoxious as**ole!! Protect her in a mature, loving, manley fashion! That shows you love her, BUT to be a jelouse, over protective freak, is only to possess her, and NO WOMAN LIKES THAT!!!!!! Unless she herself is that way, well then thats a whole other issue, and just a plain old unhealthy, relationship that you both should end before you end up killing eachother or someone else!!! God Bless and Good Luck!!! Go to a alanon meeting you'll learn alot!! Nothing wrong with seeking outside help, for inner growth!!

Only to a point. They like it when you are a bit "protective" but not to the point you get mad over every little thing. You walk a fine line between showing you care and being a jerk. If you think you are overly jealous you probably are.

It's normal to get jealous (just not overly jealous). I love my bf to be protective of me. It's a good feeling of security.

I don't really like guys like that..I like guys that give me space..Jealousy just shows that there is no trust and overly protective also shows the same thing..If there's trust then there's no need for jealousy and protection..

I sure don't, and I don't know any sane women who do. It's natural to protect your loved one and feel a little jealous at times. It crosses the line when that kind of behaviour persists.

Protective, yes. I like my man to take care of me and make me feel safe. Jealous, no. I want him to be secure in our relationship and know that I care. To me, jealousy is an immature reactiion to someone who has trouble committing to a relationship.
