wouldn't be as much fun, would it?

Absolutely, but then the Christian section would degenerate into that joke that keeps getting posted. You know the one where the guy is going to jump off a bridge, and someone else stops him, until he learns they are different forms of 'reformed' so the 2nd guy pushes the jumper off the bridge for being an infidel.

The atheist section would still argue as to WHY they didn't believe in god, but it would be more interesting than the Christian section.

You're asking why people with religious differences don't get along. My friend, they never have and they never will. How many wars have been fought over this same issue? As Christians, we should know to love our fellow man regardless of their beliefs. You can't whip someone into believing. If someone is ready, they will look for the information without us being overly assertive. We should open the door and if they choose to go thrugh it, it will be their choice. In the meantime, understand that others will believe what they choose no matter how we feel about it. If they choose to attack us, it is only words for now. Just don't be the one doing the attacking. We are Christians and we don't do that. Although I'm always up for a good debate.

While the Atheists would probably get bored out of their minds, the Christians have lots of denominations, so they could keep talking for decades about which group is right. Intelligent Design? Or Direct Creation? 6000 years? Or 12 billion? Dinosaurs on the Ark? Or not? Pre-Tribulation Rapture? Post Trib? Or other? Should St Augustine be raked over the coals for what he did to sexuality? and much, much more!

"Question : "Do you believe in God?", followed by 25 responses of "YES!"" followed by a 26th answer saying simply "No". Then this answer gets 25 thumbs down and the next answers will go in the line of "you sad atheist, you will repent when the rapture is here" or " i will pray for your soul, come and join us"...... but noone will send the damn answerer to his or her designated section because they love challenges and want to convert him...

How predictable.

Oh, and the christian who dares staying in the atheist section will become an alcoholic.

actually, Believers wouldn't be able to get a word in edgewise because of all the smart remarks. Atheists just can't resist. Of course, it yould be exactly the same way in the atheist section with the Christians being smart a$$es. We can't resist either. So here we are! All in one big happy section!

I wish they would create an atheist section just to see how many Christians show up, just like they do in the Gay section

You know they would

Yep. The Christians could still argue over how exactly they are supposed to go about believing in God, of course

Yep.
Christians would be in the atheist section trying to change them and mad atheist would be in the Christians section trying to tick them off. ^.^ lol It would be the same.

Nah...

The "christian" section would be full of arguments over trinity or not; pre, mid, or post rapture; who to pray to, etc, etc etc.

The atheist section would be full of fun finding holes in christian logic without fear of being reported; peaceful discussion of ancient paganism and it's influence on modern society; and heated debates over IPU vs FSM.

Thankfully, this is the Religion AND Spirituality section and not the Christians and Atheist section.
