Can you give me some creative ways in spreading the gospel? We are thinking of creating a radical outreach ministry in our church.

Come on people! There is an urgency, because as believers, we know that Jesus is coming back soon. Maybe tommorow. We need to get the message out!!!

Read the Bible and witness to the elderly in the old folks homes.
Have a revival where someone preaches everynight for 2 weeks. Pass out door to door brochures on doorknobs and invite all the neighbors to church. Fill the brochures with the Word of God directly from the Bible. God's Word changes the hearts of man a lot faster than man's words of testimony.
Get a mail out program and mailout brochures to thousands in your neighborhood and beyond. The Post Office can help you with this and explain how it is done. Let the recipients know about your church but explain that any Bible believing church will do. Remember that you are trying to win souls for Jesus and not bring in money to the church. Many elderly people would love to receive a brochure once a week with Bible Scripture and Internet links to great ministries that have sermons and literature for people to read. See if you can be of help in the Orphan's Homes, the hospitals and offer food for the hungry and clothes for the poor and school supplies for the poverty stricken. Go into the poor sections of town and give them brochures and gifts. $5.00 gift certificates to McDonalds, etc.
Teach the church members to give to the homeless on the corners without thinking the money is going for alcohol. Make food packets for the homeless with brochures of Bible verses in them. Quote directly out of God's Word. It is God's Word that changes the hearts of men and women.
Getting people out of the church and into the lives of lost people witnessing about Jesus Christ is not an easy job. Tell them that it is not Christlike to sit in the church every week and do nothing for the Lord.

Spread the strawberry jam of the gospel on the toast of fools. You're just an innocent victim of freedom.

I like how our church does it. We just try to serve the community any way we can. Some examples:
On April 15th, we give free mocha's and cookies to people standing in line at the post office.
We set up a fenced area and offer free child care at the local Farmer's Market and call it a half an hour of freedom.
We give food and supplies to the poor.
After Katrina, we sent several semi-trucks full of supplies to help them out.
We show up to the fire station and say thank-you to them with snacks.
All we say is, "We're from Sonrise Church and we want to serve you". Those that are interested ask us. Some say that they are going to check out our church. I don't think it's offensive that way.

I live for the Lord. It is not always necessary to spread the Gospel with words, but with actions. I do it by being joyful in the Lord and in all I do, reigniting my worship, serving others and just being there for people. I want people to see that there is something different about me because of the Lord.

Your testimony is a powerful tool to spread the word. Try free plays, concerts, etc... that works too. I know that Master's Comission is awesome and they have them around the world. You should check it out! :) Praise God that you want to spread the Gospel. Don't stress about it too much either. The Lord will guide you as to what to say and do. God bless!

I live the Gospel and I let God do the rest. I respect others belief but if they ask me, I am not afraid to tell them I am a Christian. I wear a cross and I try to remind myself to love others and follow the easy way of the 10 commandments. Amen

I agree with Peter D above. Going around and pestering people about religion only turns them away from it. Most people in this country have heard about Christianity and Jesus; don't hound them about it.
Do like one church does where I live. They knock on the door, OFFER you a free pamplet, thank you, and leave. They don't force it on you, they don't charge you for it, and they don't start talking. I'm assuming if you had a question, they would be pleased to answer it.

Here's a radical thought. Live it. Live by it's teachings and teach in the method of Jesus. Use the soft sell approach instead of telling everyone "You gonna burn!!"

Well 1st of all it really does come from the Holy spirit so, you just need to pray on it. How you do it would be different than how someone else does it... I always pray beforehand to say the right thing, for that person! Sometimes one little word means a bunch to someone else... and the Holy spirit can do that for you and the positive in volition toward God.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved.
It is from faith you are saved through Christ and not of yourselves lest any man should boast ... and...
Right where you sit, right now you can have eternal life.
You can tell God the father in thought only that you are aware that you are a sinner and that you accept Jesus Christ as your savior, you are thankful that he sent his son to pay the ultimate price for your sins.

Find a quilified guitar player and offer free guitar lessons to anyone who wants to learn. Do not limit it to gospel but rock or anything but require that some gospel be played. It will add extra music on Sunday nights and some will go to nursing homes and play which will further the gospel even more.
