then science is the opposite of the Bible. Is that the logic of Christians or am I missing something important?

Woh woh woh! What are you trying to say here? If your saying that God made heaven and earth, and that since science is on earth, then the Bible must be on heaven, then you are wrong, because the Bible exists on earth just as much as science ;) (I don't think your trying ot say that, but... o well). Now if your trying to say that God made 2 things: Heaven and Earth, and so they must be opposites. And then continue to say that Earth did the same and has Science and the Bible (or any other religious literature) and they must be opposites, then u are sadly mistaken :) Earth and Heaven aren't opposites and niehter is science and the Bible. They are just 2 places. So saying they are opposite is like saying Ohio and Florida are opposites. And the Bible is a mix of historical facts and religious truth (or so Christians believe). So saying that science is its opposites is like saying that Caesar prayed to Mars before going into war for a swift victory and then it happening, is the opposite of gravity pulling an apple to earth.

Christians are not in opposition to science; they aren't really even in opposition to the entire Theory of Evolution. For example, the majority of Christians accept adaptation as a scientific fact. Christians reject species-to-species evolution, which, by the way, is still unproven and not even accepted by many reputable scientists.

The Bible says that God created the earth. I choose to believe God. If his creation appears to some scientists as evolution, then fine. I have no problem with that. I still believe God.

Remember that there were scientists that believed the world was flat--that's how it looked to them. If I have to put my faith somewhere, I choose God.

Not at all all Christians use science everyday. We just believe that God created the earth and life. Anyone that thinks there wasn't any science involved in that is fooling themselves. We don't buy being from monkeys though. Show me that missing link and I'll listen.

Science is man's attempt to understand the world that God created. That's all. I am not opposed to science. I am very interested in it actually. I just place God's word in more authority than man's science.

science is just the study of life and the chemical and physical processes that make up life.....

god made life...

the bible and science should not be opposites....science is the study of what God has done...in nature and life...

seems like the only disagreement is the evolution thing..but remember, NO ONE was THERE, except God....so no witnesses to evolution....data is not supportive enough,, i f you actually analzye it.....evolution is a theory presented by aetheists who refuse to believe God exists...so they cannot accept the creation account in the bible..

Good science will support the Bible, and vice-versa. But it is
evolutionary science has pervaded most of modern science.

Evolutionary science is man made (the flesh) and Creationism is based upon God. (the Spirit)

God created science, but the truth of science. Man created theories, assumptions and lies.

Science is not the opposite of the bible. Quite the contrary.
Science has caught up to the bible in alot of ways.... but yes, God created Scientists, therefore "science".

Some science is not fact remember, some science is theory!

No, God created the universe and all of its scientific principles. After all:

In the beginning (Time) God created the heavens (Space) and the earth (Matter).

The Bible is not the science book. However, science has not showed me anything that makes me not to believe in God. It only confirms my belief.
