moths are attracted to the light, even if they are hostile to it :-)

WEll, I disagree that the majority is atheists...but the same is true in the Gay section where the Religious right and homophobes take up more space than gays do..they are daily besieged with hate from right winged religious nuts....none of this is nice, most of it is ridiculous...but I have also found that this stuff is very easily ignored....why bother to write anything to a lunatic? It just is not necessary to put my two cents worth in for every "question" I see here, there, or anywhere for that matter.

It is because they are seeking something that they know is out there. It's the guilt of confessing that there is no God, yet knowing deep down that they are wrong that brings them here. They are searching, but they try to hide it under the disguise of anger, hatred, mean-spiritedness, etc.
They need the Lord Jesus Christ, and they know that.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:6)
Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Certain times of the day seem to have more atheists online that say Christians. Between 9-1 seems to be a hot time for atheists.

There aren't any questions for pagans or Taoists in the Cats section.
And, yes, it is rather amusing that there are fewer Christians these days, and I'm glad to see my fellow atheists are not afraid of participating in the social dialogue.

Yes! It is! lol
It would seem that the Atheists are even MORE religious than other faiths are! That is so hilarious! ROTFLMAO
They seek to gain coverts, they repeat the mantra " there is no God, so it doesn't matter" over and over again.
They have faith that they are right about the dogma they carry into every single answer, VERY very religious!
And on top of all of that, they are in DENIAL about having faith in what they believe, even with the definitions of faith, religion, and dogma staring them in the face.
What a bunch of lazy, unscientific, hazy minded, hypocritical people!
It's so so funny! lol

What it might tell you is that atheists need a place to be able to share their views. Everyone already knows the other side.

At least we don't claim to have an answer or a boring bible quote for every little question in life.

I don't know if it's hilarious, certainly amusing though.
I guess it's just a sign of the times.

Nope. I think it's more likely because they have more answers to questions than religious types, and probably more free time to answer questions in.
