Hey everyone, I just got back from the hospital. I've been diagnosed with parasthesia 2nd to hyperventilation. The doctor thinks it was because I was breathing too hard, but I wasn't at the time. My friend at work thinks it was a panic attack. I have to follow-up with the doctor in 5-7 days. I worried the people at work a lot, and they're all glad I'm okay. Thank you everybody on Yahoo!

Okay, I know what it probably was now. It was an anxiety attack. I've never had one until now and it scared me a lot. Now I need to learn to relax.

If it's only the cheek and tongue, it's probably a pinched nerve someplace, but the more serious possibilities are so bad that you really need to see a doctor NOW, not after work.

you may want to call a doctor or look up the symptoms of a stroke. i know the left side of someone's body goes numb when they have a stroke. this could be some really mild form of one or warning signs.

stroke/heart attack...if you start mumbling or get shortness of breath or feel like your chest is getting heavy call 911...or your body could just be going thru a moment of weirdness
