I wouldn't lie about it. I might even point her out to the girl I'm with. I agree why lie. I haven't done anything wrong because everyone looks. It's meaningless.
My question is why are you upset that he's looking? If you weren't being pissy and insecure about it he probably wouldn't lie. You're both being childish.
The reason he is lying is because you or another girl taught him to. At some point a guy learns that telling the truth will cause hours of fighting. He has 2 choices tell the truth and have a fight or lie and hopefully avoid it. Enough fights about it and you've trained him to lie.
Now if he is smart he will tell the truth about this and every woman who is so insecure she has a fit he'll walk away from and eventually he'll meet a woman who is secure and honest.

Well, I know I have lied about looking because females are so insecure that I just want to avoid the confrontation. And as insensitive as it is, most guys will always look...no matter how infatuated they are with their significant other.
I honestly believe that men wouldn't lie if they knew there were no consequences. That being said, I'd say liss than 10% are telling the truth.

Honestly the younger do it more then older . If i get caught and asked what I was looking for or the nature of my observation, I tell the truth.. if your hot I will state that your are very attractive. etc, not reply well your so freaking hot I couldn't stand it and had to stare, the answer varies depending on the situation at hand.

I feel even shy just looking at a girl. That's why i never look
into a girl's eyes for like more than 3 seconds. Girl's
might get the wrong idea or maybe if they dont like
the guy, they might make fun of him. They probably
want the girl to come up to them, to flirt and talk with
them.

They don't wanna deal with the consequences of telling the truth. I think every guy looks at other girls, but there's a problem when he starts doing more than just look.

...hard to say, I have done it to try to stay out of trouble, thus getting into more. Also trying not to hurt the feelings of the girl I am with, if we are out somewhere she probably got dressed up and so "Why the hell am I looking at someone else." In truth its just hard not to (look I mean) we are probably looking at the same features on her we like about you.

Like a lot of people, the first instinct is to say "no I wasn't/didn't" while forming a cover story in their mind.
The question should be, why is it even an issue? A guy in a relationship is attached, not dead...both he and his gal should be able to check out whomever they want, as long as all it is, is showing some visual appreciation.

Because they think they are going to get yelled at/chewed out by the girl (wife, girlfriend, etc.) they are with. I think probably about 40% are actually telling the truth. Some are trully oblivious.

Because if they told the truth, the girls will give them hell for it. Most, if not all guys look. It's in their nature. And it's also in their nature to lie about it afterwards.

They don't want their girlfriends to know because most of the time, they'll get mad. But they're guys. It's kind of to be expected. I'd say maybe about 25% are actually telling the truth.
