Not necessarily. Some people think I am, but if I were super devout, I wouldn't study about other religions and visit other types of religious services, which I do from time to time. I've always been curious about what other people believe. Also, my religion has a few teachings that I have questions about. I have strong belief in my religion, but not to the exclusion of all other ways of thinking.

Growing in devotion is an ongoing process. There was a song from a Broadway musical in 1970 -- in which the lyrics were not actually original, but those of a 13th century saint put to music -- that summed it up this way:
Day by day, oh dear Lord, three things I pray: To see thee more clearly, love thee more dearly, and follow thee more nearly, day by day.
I aspire to such, but do not always succeed. And so each morning I am grateful to be given another day to do so.

I can't, I don't know myself enough.. Allah knows myself better, he says:
"Say: Shall We inform you who will be the greatest losers by their works? Those whose effort goeth astray in the life of the world, and yet they reckon that they do good work." 18:104
This verse makes me weep, it scared Omar Ibn Al Kahattab though Muhammad صÙ٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠٠اÙسÙاÙ
told him he's one of the heaven's men.
