We have two little boys, the old of whom is obsessed with planes, trains, and automobiles. So, we decided to go with that theme for their room.

- Target has a line of kids sheets, lamps, curtains, etc. that are covered in cars, trucks, etc. These were pretty reasonable price-wise. Even if you don't use those specific sheets, they have several other 'theme' sets (like a log cabin theme) that you can use as a basis for a room. Likewise, the big hardware stores (Lowes, Home Depot) also have 'lines' of different themed products that you can use for inspritation.

- We bought some of the Dinsey 'Cars' stuff. Since the movie is a couple years old, a lot of the stuff is on sale. We got some great 'vintage' metal signs. Disney stores, Target, Walmart, and Rooms-to-Go all carry their stuff.

- Go to Michael's or other big craft store to see what they have. We bought some wooden 'cut outs' of cars, trucks, trees, airplanes, etc. and used them to create a 'mural' on one wall of their room. We painted the wall with hills and sky and then used the painted cut outs.

My friend painted her son's room blue and did a border of all different kinds of cars and trucks. His lamp is shaped like a truck, his lightswitch plate is a car.

Another friend of mine did primary colors - the room was painted bright yellow with red and blue trim, a blue rug, and baby Disney accessories.

Someone else did a zoo theme. Painted the room light blue and light green and the border was all baby zoo animals, and got baby zoo animal accessories to match.

We used a jungle theme. Main colors are sage/tan (see Zanzabar bedding collection). We have leafy vines hung around near the ceiling with monkeys hanging from them. His stuffed animals are giraffes, elephants, monkeys, etc... HE absolutely loves it and so does everyone who sees the nursery. It's a nice change from BLUE. Baby boys are awesome by the way -- Congratulations!!

Denim
Animals
Noah's Ark
Sports
All hues of BLUE
Trucks, planes, trains
Nature
Any cartoon characters.
Marvel Action Heros

My fav is the Denim. Jean curtians, bedding, they even have a ralph lauren paint that you can make look denim... Diffrent whites, blues and demin would make a classic and unique look.

OuterSpace and Rockets

Have your little man’s mind explore outerspace with his very own space theme. Think stars, moons, planets, and especially rockets. Every night when he falls a sleep, your little one’s mind will blast off into orbit with complimentary outerspace sheets, blankets, and furniture

uncertain the place you reside and what shops you have get admission to to, yet for our toddler boy we've long gone for the Zeddy & Parsnip variety from Mamas & Papas. it incredibly is an animal topic in a mushy lemon shade. we've painted the partitions a unbiased stone shade with a similar carpet and o.ok.furniture. seems incredibly superb and snug.
