To me, it always seems like guys care more about looks than girls. It seems like girls are more willing to be with guys that are not really very physically attractive, but it seems like guys kind of want to have a better looking girl? Is this true? What does everyone think? Do guys also like to show off their girl to their friends? Just curious to know everyone's opinion :)

Looks are important to me. If I am not physically attracted to someone, I cant be with them, and I have tried. Don't get me wrong, the person has to have other qualities in them too. I get a lot of slack from my girl friends about this, but they are all the same way. Each one of them has a "type" of guy who looks a certain way. I think it is a part of human nature to feel this way, one that not many people own up to. My guy friends are much more open to being with someone they aren't really attracted to then my girl friends are.

Girls like guys that are not so attratctive plain and simple the guy is not stubborn stupid childish arrogant pigheaded jerks that think about well you know all the time. Yes these guys like attractive girls all males do. It has something to do with self confidence, not money well not all the time. As guys for showing off there girlfriends yes the like to do this. except if he has jealousy problem. I just started dating this guy and well he's already telling people that were a couple which is really sweet.

Your question makes me wonder, too. I see the guys who are wearing those scuzzy looking cargo shorts that are baggind down to their ankles, they are unshaven, etc; I have to resist strongly the implulse to shoot them on the spot and put them out of their misery. Yet the girls they are with look clean shaven, dressed nicely, yadda; what do these girls see in the low life looking creeps they are with? Or, is the pool so depleted that they are willing to take what is scraped off the bottom? I used to think women were more intelligent than men but now I am beginning to wonder if being around these scuzz balls that their brains are being sucked out into a black hole or something.

Deep down everyone cares about looks...everyone finds different people attractive..everyone likes to show off their boyfriend or girlfriend. Your question could go both ways..girls can be with guys who aren't physically attractive and guy can be with girls who aren't physically attractive

It all depends on the guy. I am a type of person who wouldn't want to see a girl just for her looks but looks is a big part of it. Some people don't want a relationship some guys are interested in women for the wrong reasons.

According to me some guys are always selfish if they are in love with some one means definitely the girl looks more beautiful always most of the guys attracted towards the girls external beauty(beautiful heart) they don't want to know about the girl about her feelings & one more thing that they want to show their friends that their girl friend looks very beautiful.

Boys doesn't like to show off their girls. May be you find some like that. Boys like girls with good physic only when they don't know any or they don't have frnds. But if you have good friend and some one you find is very much understanding and caring, than looks and other thing doesn't matter.

In general that seems to be the case, although I know a lot of girls that only want a show piece too. I think it's just a maturity thing, since guys mature slower it shows up more in them at certain age groups.

usually i'm attracted to a guy from his looks, but when i get to know him it's his personality that seals the deal. i've met many guys like that too, but it's always the more popular one's who seem insensitive (imagine that, lol). it depends on the person though, so don't stereotype thinking all guys and girls are as others expect. and guys should want to show off their girlfriends, not only because they should love them as themselves, but because it makes the girl feel good. she feels wanted and loved.

I think its true girls like guys for their personalities why more than guys do. Most guys are only interested in looks. Thats just my opinion.
