Sure, if they were smart like Alexandar the Great and did that horseshoe thing around us. Or I have no weapons like the Russians during the first and second world wars. But just people, nah, I think 80 would out number 10. Or we can all just become friends. You didn't say they were threatning.

Would depend on the 80 people I'm with and what the 10 across from me are doing.

Not in the slightests, I may expect the 10 people to be wary, but In all honesty I would rather it was one group of 90, even if we had different views, ideas and minds.

If everyone is thinking the same, someone is not thinking.

I don't feel threatened by any number of people. Sixty-five years in the war in Germany, numbers were important. You're hinting at something with your question, but expect everybody to guess just what it is.
Why don't you say why either group should feel threatened ?

Yes, if my group of 80 people couldn't agree on which book was correct and our argument was based on tenuous evidence at best, I wouldn't have a lot of "faith" in my 80% majority.

Yes... more threatened by the group of 80 than anything else. I'm not exactly your big social butterfly.

Maybe if the 80 were Jewish and the 10 were Nazi's with machine guns!

Yes, if all the people in the group of 10 were Carrot Top impersonators.

That would mean we would outnumber them 8-1. It's obvious! If they threatened us we could always human wave them. But Captain Obvious is a peacful person so I would just bore them with my Obviousness.
