I am trying to find a bike carrier for 2 bikes that will fit on the trunk of my Scion Xa. I have looked at a few of the stores in the town i am living in and cant find one that will work. Does anyone know where i can possible find one?

If your car has a glass hatch on the back it is going to be a tough go to find a safe rack. The top straps of any rack have to mount somewhere and attaching it to glass is not the best idea in the world.
However, you might be able to use a Saris Bones. These fit a lot of cars because they mount somewhat differently. They are about $100.

I will recommend a trunk rack. From my personal experience, i installed a roof rack on my sentra nissan, and it was a disaster. The seals of the doors get damage and also the roof suffer from bike falling from the rack.
Thule has trunk racks, that will fit your car. go to thuleracks.com and they have a demo that will give you the racks for the Scion XA.

Have you gone to a bike shop? Or a large discount store? Bike shops will have good brands of racks - Thule, Yakima, etc. Eacg brand will have a fit guide telling whether or not each product fits a particular car. Adhering to the fit guide is crucial.
