Nope - I *have* thought long and hard about it, but in the end, money will mean nothing if I have to spend so much of my life and time with a person I don't love or respect.
And if I was with them for their money I know my loathing for them would grow and grow. First I might think they were not my type, but an "ok" person ... but as time went on and I resented all the really great love I am missing out on, I would hate them more and more and all of my rich life would be spent miserABLE AND effectively lonely.

Sometimes money can crate more problems in a relationship.
I have dated someone solely based on money and was not treated with the love and respect that I deserve.
But if you truely love and care about yourself and for the other person, then them having money is another thing.

...I wouldn't base any kind of a relationship I have with anyone due to money.....unless of course I was a "GOLD DIGGING "incapable of creating my OWN income kinda person. How ridiculous that people even think about this sordid mentally feeble equation in the first place really. It just tells me about an individual that's not reasonably into anything for love....just money! How weak seriously! Yikes!!

i would date someone for money. marry NO! but there is nothing wrong with having fun with a guy who has money and even better willing to spoil you with it. who knows it could turn into something great or at least you get some cool stuff along the way

I've always wondered about that..but probably not because of Anna nicole or w/e. she was like 20 and she married a 60 year old..that was rich and then he died..She didn't even get the money!

Dating someone for money is one thing but marring them is another. Me i could never spend the resat of my life with someone over money and not because of them. I believe in great love and that's what i look for in a man, not the thickens in his wallet.

NO, because I'm the one with the money usually and I wouldn't date girls for their money. I wouldn't marry them either.

I would NEVER do that. I mean, it's like how do you marry someone or even kiss someone that you find completely ugly for their money?

maybe go out for money but NEVER get MARRIED for MONEY. i would not ruin my life and be miserable with money instead of living happy and with the person i truely love.
