why apply for a low intrest rate student loan when their are pell grants out their pell grants are free to just about any one you dont have to pay the money back unless you fail to full fill your obligation (ie droping out or failing college) you can apply by mail or on line here are a few sights you can check out and put in an application pell grant application, us goverment grants, fed pell grants on the web -u.s.department of education and of course fafsa sallie mae is ok but once you graduate six months is all you get and three refferals until you find a job however the loan builds interest during that time period so think long and hard about sallie mae with pell grants depending on your parents income you may be able to get the max or not

Go to Salliemae.com they have great subsidized loans for college. They pay the interest while you are in school and you don't have to start paying on the loan until 6months after you graduate, just as long as you stay enrolled in school.
