Assuming precognition is a real thing, where or how would it fit in Christianity? If it were a gift of the Holy Spirit, which of the gifts would it otherwise be called? Do you think that a Christian could have precognition and that it wouldnt be in conflict with Christianity?
Just a few questions to spark your thoughts.

Amo 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
It's known as the gift of prophecy, which could be simply 'teaching' or a foreknowledge of events God has planned. If you understand the prophets of the Old testament, then that would be a form of 'precognition', in that it foretells future events. This is only given by the Holy spirit of God.
The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Yahshua.(rev. 19:10)

I'm a Christian and I've had many precognitions. I have my entire life off and on.
I've had dreams that have come true, I've known things about people that they never told me, I've had feelings about people that were right on and much more.

I've prayed that if this wasn't from God to take it away. I still have it. But it has lessened over the years. I'm not special, it's God that's special.

I think we must be very careful not to get into the occult. I'd never go to a medium or a seance. I've had people who claim to be "psychic" tell me I was and ask me to join in on whatever they are doing at the time, I never would. One lady said she did work for the police department and asked me to join. When I was a kid it scared me.

Precognition would be the Holy Spirit in us teaching us all things even to prepare us for things to come. We are not left or forsaken, the Holy Spirit is with us so we will know to "walk this way, say this or do that." Anything "extrasensory" in me is the Holy Spirit. I stand in awe of the Holy Spirit and how He directs my life.

Prophecy, I believe, is a gift of the Spirit, which would fit closet to precognition

I would consider precognition to be anti-christianity. To say that you can know something before it happens is not true.
