In a sense, perhaps not the one you mean here.
The sense of time is subjectively formed by events held in memory. The more events packed into a given period of 'subjective' time, the faster time seem to be moving. If one is bored, time can seem to slow down dramatically since few events are being registered as significant.

If this were true, my memory would be fantastic. I have a lot of wonderful moments lived to the fullest and my memory does not keep up with them.

life is an experience, and in the end our memories make the story, and the story is our own. how real the story is depends on how much we live that story. if we dont live the story with love in our heart, then we dont live much at all, and dont have much worth remembering.

Oh yes ! It could be said that we are re-building our memories from the 'inside out', expanding upon a central core theme.
It could equally also be said that we are making it all up as we go along ! 'Past' ? 'Present' ? 'Future' ? I 'remember' them all !
