My mother in law (Catholic) feels its a duty to visit the Vatican at least once in a lifetime. I know other faiths have similar ideas. Would any of you consider this your duty or even attempt to visit these sites as part of your learning path in faith? Would you also be interested in visiting sacred sites of other faiths?

Sure I would go visit these sacred places because they may help you in more ways than one and it is after you visited the sites you can look around and see the places around it because I am sure that some of these places are in other countries.
