Wow, tough call. There are 3 I could think of, but it comes down to one really. If I could go back it would be to witness for myself Christs sermon on the mount. That would be monumentally awesome.

Can we just watch, or can we stop it? If watching only, well, I guess going back to that would allow me to tell everyone it was a myth. Of course, I do that now, and no one would believe me anyway, so I'd rather see something positive, like Ben Franklin flying his kite.
If we can stop it, well, I'd go back to when the writers came up with these myths and stop them! Think of the misery I'd save the world from!

I would go back to area 51 and see if the aliens really crashed a spaceship or if it was all an elaborate hoax.

I'd like to see Noah and the ark. I love animals! (Yes I saw Evan Almighty a couple weeks ago.) And of course it would be great to be there when Jesus was born.

I would go back to the time when Jesus began to give his sermons. They are awsome in the bible I bet they were even better in person.

I would go to Germany ca. 1930 to discover what Hitler was really angry about and whether or not he was part Jewish.
