I'm trying to translate bits of text from a school report card type document into English and the word "javitóvizsga" is giving me trouble. Any help would be appreciated, especially if you could give me a base root word that I might have better luck hunting down in online dictionaries or translation software for confirmation.

Thanks!

Found it in my Hungarian- English dictionary.
Javitóvizsga means "repeat examination".
It comes from javit--to repair or improve.

Javitovizsga is an exam you take when you failed an exam in college. You basically repeat the exam, with different questions on the same material.
