Don't believe all the others. Only the physical body dies and decomposes, but the soul and spirit live on in another dimension, which is in a higher vibrational frequency than our present 3D lives, and that is why we cannot see into these areas--only those who have developed their sixth sense can see into or be aware of higher dimensions. The soul goes on to learn more lessons. Our essence does NOT die; we are eternal beings who have lived many, many lifetimes on earth to learn various lessons. In truth, life and learning never ends.

There are many accounts of Near Death Experiences. Regardless of the experiencers' religious beliefs there some common factors reported during these NDEs such as emerging with a bright and loving light (unless one is very evil). Perhaps you can check those out for possible answers to your question. I believe after death, we are recombined with the Universe, not just the physical Universe as we know it, because - as scientists are unraveling now, the Universe is not as simple as we used to think it is - but most probably a larger picture of an overall, absolute and universal Existence.

This is a question that has been gnawing at me for years. I was raised and taught that if we ask Jesus/God to come into our hearts that we will go to heaven. If we do not welcome him then we will not be with him when we die.

Often times I wonder if we have been taught such a thing to help us prepare for death, because we really and truely do not know what to expect when we die. It is a very hard question to answer. I for some time have felt that when we die, we just die and that is basically it. But at the same time, I feel on the inside that there is something to look forward to. I can't place my finger on it exactly, but I can just feel it.

You have to have "faith." That is something that I have had to learn. Sometimes you really can't have the answer to what you want to know until it happens.

Why are people going on about the bible. When we die our spiritual bodies come away from our physical souls and we are joined with our loved ones. its a more peaceful place than earth. we go somewhere else. God and Jesus if you believe in all that tripe has nothing to do with it. I have first hand experience of hearing the spirit world. Its a lovely place.

Our physical body will serve no other purpose except for becoming dirt. But our soul and our spirit will still be in existance so everything is not over as some say. Where and how we go after our passing depends to a large amount on our living and I am not merely talkin' about heaven and hell.

our body rots but our mind floats free torn from its physical body some cant accept there dead or died so suddenly or violently they don't relies there dead or have unfinished business and stay as ghost the rest stand before before Jesus and the creator to be judged if they have accepted them and tried to make the creators plans real they will go to purgatory to await the when the great city of Zion (heaven) comes to earth and they can return to life on earth if they been bad they will get tossed in a dark old pit and when the creator comes to earth he will toss them into a burning pit of oil fire and brimstone to burn for eternity in agony like they have never known also the truly evil will be eaten by the great 7 headed serpant the devil and be burning inside its gut forever

Your soul never dies, as to what happens when your body, dies... No one can say for exactly sure. I believe that it is a much better place than where we are now. I hope.

I tell you what I really believe happens when we die.

The energy that is stored in our bodies slowerly escapes as our bodies beging to decompose. This energy then goes on to rejoin the energy of the planet.

So people call this an after life, some people even go as far to say its summerland or heaven or hell or na'tu or what ever that person happens to believe, but I believe that is what happens

As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

the signs of death are:A person's footsteps stagger, he beings to falling, his eyes roll,he breathes heavily. He may later stop recongnizing people or faint.
those who had died that are wrong dores they will be tortures in their graves for them such as:being bitten by snakes, worms, being hit by angels, being crushed by the grave etc..
but thoes who do good : good people stay in comfort after death and the grave is like a great wide garden for them, no bugs claim and relax.
