It's probably because you haven't stopped long enough to think about what is all around you. Do you believe that humans (such complex organisms) really got here all on their own? There is so much around you that shows that there has to be a God. A lot of people don't realize it though. In my opinion, you need to do some more thinking. God is there and he makes it clear that he wants EVERYONE including YOU to live with him in heaven someday. This life on earth is not the end. If it was, what purpose would be have? We'd be worthless. But God has so much planned for everyone on earth. The only thing he asks is for you to give over your life to him. Let him take control. If you do, you will see some amazing changes.

Is the reason you do not believe in "God" because you have a hard time believing that the god of the Old Testament known as "the LORD" is "God"? I tell you he is not. Only the "God" of Genesis 1:1-2:3 is the real "God". Start at Genesis1:1 in a King James Bible and see it for yourself. "the LORD God" is an imitator and is actually the devil.

It is hard to believe without seeing. A person has to embrace what Jesus taught and believe that what He said is true. It is easy to understand Jesus teachings. They are very straight forward and simple. I guess you just don't want to believe. It is your choice and your choice alone. Take some time to read the first 4 or 5 books of the New Testament then take some time to absorb it. You may think differently.

I have lived in this world for 54 years and wondered about the same thing. I have experience 3 seprate times where god has shown his presents. There were no explinations for what had happend the way they did, things phisically impossible, but lives were saved because of it.
One life was my daughter who should have died bcause of an auto accident involving both of use. We both came out unscathed but we should have both been dead.
That is what made me believe in a higher power.
Besides that, who could posibly creat such a beautiful world?

It is neither. It just means you do not have faith in that which is not tactile. It takes an extreme amount of faith to believe in something you can not see, touch or feel in the physical sense. We all come to our own conclusions about everything in life, it does not necessarily make one more learned than another to make a different decision.

I don't know why you donh't believe in god but I do know that the tooth fairy is a drunk.
PS Everyone attacked you because athiests hate the weak-minded and ignorant and christians hate everyone who questions their beliefs. (They are all a**h*les.)

probably because you came to your own decision.....
also you have to ask yourself, is it that you dont believe in a specific god or the idea of god in general.

It is because pride is in the way. God says that He opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6)
Do you know why we need Christ? Why we need His salvation? Please e mail me, because I would like to truly share the word of truth with you--- and explain the goodness of God and why we all need Him.
