Absolutely not! Women who are chronic dieters tend to skip the protein foods, eating more vegetables, fruits, and breads. This leads to loss of muscle mass over the years and slowing of the metabolism. Bone mass is often impacted from this dietary deficiency.
You must eat 3 well balanced meal plus one to two nutritious snacks daily and you must get the proper amount of Protein on a daily basis. This is where women fail on diets because we completely remove protein from our diets and can't understand why we don't lose weight.
The US RDA of protein for women is 75 Grams of protein. Now, the RDA is set to "prevent the onset of disease" so it is the bare minimum that you need. Woman usually need anywhere from 75-125 grams of protein daily based upon their body type. Now, that means you should get approx. 25 grams of protein per meal (25 grams of protein is equivalent to 3 oz of chicken breast) plus a couple of sensible snacks with protein.
But make sure the protein that you do eat is either lean animal protein (i.e., chicken and turkey breast, fish, lean meats such as flank steak) and plant based proteins such as soy, whey and/ or flax.
Be sure to get adequate amounts of Omega 3 from wild caugh cold water fish...you should eat that about 3x per week plus take a supplement! Most Americans do not get enough Omega 3 in our diets...that's a whole other topic...but make sure you eat natural or organic meats and the wild caught fish.

Oh yeah you will lose a lot of weight. You'll be fine by just eating the things you suggested. Cut out sodas too, the artificial sweeteners aren't good. If you feel like some chocolate don't beat yourself up over it. Just have it and satisfy the urge and then go back to the salads. You will look fantastic in 3 months. Buy a new bikini.

It is pretty healthy... as long as you aren't drowning it in salad dressing, or adding a bunch of stuff to it like bacon bits and cheese, etc.
But it sounds pretty bland and boring... not typically something I believe you would be able to keep up in the long run. If you ever bore of salads (which I would in about 1 week), you will not know what else to eat that is healthy and that you like and it works for you, etc.
You should venture out into the health food world and try to be more creative so you can eat happy AND healthy... and it's not a miserable chore to choke down salad number 102 for lunch in a few months.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

It sounds good but weight loss depends on taking in less calories per day than you expend, so even though you are eating what sounds like a healthy meal, you may still need to increase your exercise per day to burn off the calories. Give it a week and see what you think. Good luck!

That sounds healthy; your getting alot of greens and veggies, then protein from the chicken, you could add in eating a piece of fruit with your salads too.

In my opinion yes it is healthy. I'm doing the exact same thing you are doing, I just started last week as a matter of fact. Just make sure you get a well balanced breakfast and drink plenty of water.

Not really. You'll run the risk of losing your hair too. You're missing MANY vital nutrients - like calcium, iron, and other things.
