I have 3 acres of raw land I would sell for the money but nothing is selling these days.

I would also consider trading it to someone who would cosign for me.

I make too much money to qualify for gov. assistance but not enough to qualify for a private loan.

I know I'm not the only one in this position. how are the poor people without good credit and without a "creditworthy" cosigner supose to go to college.

Maybe go to a bank and try to use the loan as colateral, also go to the financial aid office and get as many applications for various scholarships as you can. There is all kinds of free money out there, you just have to know where to find it, and I'm sure the university your looking to attend will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Student Loans are easy to get.. It's paying them off that's the trouble.. Fill out a FAFSA form (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) It's a loan you don't have to pay back until one yr. AFTER you graduate.. Check out GRANTS/SCHOLARSHIPS at FASTWEB.COM

good luck
