Where ever YOU want it.
Its your tattoo, nobody here, not even myself can tell you where you should get a tattoo, its going on your body.
I personally have one on each of my inner wrists, one on my calf, one on each shoulder blade, upper right arm and I am going in this Saturday for an addition to my half sleeve, and am also getting a wrap around my breast tattoo that will wind up on my left shoulder.
So it doesnt matter if your a woman or a man, get the tattoo where you'll want it for the rest of your life. =)

I have 2 tattoos one on my upper back didnt hurt much and a larger one on my lower back which f'ing killed maybe because of all the dark ink but i would say upper back that way it looks hot if you have a tank top on ya know or you can hide if you want too. next one will be on my foot though!!! btw i am a girl so maybe for guys its different if you are a guy definetly shoulder upper arm is HOT!

Honestly, as a tattoo fanatic I have in no way proposal of which areas are the least and so much painful. I simply get what I wish to precisely in which I wish to, and manage the ache.

You should get a capital "L" tattooed on your forehead to indicate what a loser you are for getting a tattoo in the first place. You probably are a loser anyway just for considering it.

IN MY EYES I THINK A TATTOO SHOULD BE PLACED DEPENDING ON THE DESIGN AND HOW BIG OR SMALL YOU WANT IT... AND WHAT PART OF THE BODY YOU WANT TO SHOW OR NOT... THINK ABOUT WHAT PART OF THE BODY YOU WANT THE TAT TO COMPLIMENT OR ENHANCE...

It all depends on several things: your pain tolerance, how much fat you have, where you are getting it, the size of the tattoo, how much detail, etc...
I have one on my lower back, ankle, and shoulder blade. I like the ones on my back and ankle the best.

I would say your back, b/c you can always cover it up in case you need to be professional. Or your foot. Thats where mine are, they are all able to be covered. And your back dosent hurt that bad.

were ever you want... if you want it hidden the upper thigh .. back.. hip
if you want it to be seen than arm .. lower leg .. wrist
it hurts no matter where you get it .. hurts most on a bone

depends on if you want it for everyone to see it or if its for a secret place. For men, I love to see them on the bicep or across the upper back. For ladies, its so sexy to see them on her lower back or shoulder bade.
